Baking temperature too high.
I made this recipe this evening and was disappointed. I thought the cooking temperature was too high when I read the recipe but followed the directions. Because of the high cooking temperature, the crust was tough and the cupcakes were peaked in the middle (this is due to the top crusting over before the interior is baked. Usually cupcakes are baked at 375 degrees. If this temperature was used for the entire baking time, they would probably be better.
