Every time I serve this the compliments flow. Easy and delicious. Serve as an appetizer or as a main meal over rice or quinoa together with strawberry salsa and grilled vegetables.
12 large scallops
12 large shrimp
125 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
2 tsp   curry powder
1/2 tsp cajun spice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp tumeric
2 garlic cloves crushed
salt and pepper to taste
Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a medium sized bowl. Add the shrimp and scallops and make sure they are well coated.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Remove from fridge 15 minutes before grilling.

Alternate shrimp and scallops on wood skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes.

Preheat BBQ to high. Grill kebabs for 1 -2 minutes per side. Shrimp should turn pink.
