Double Chocolate/Chocolate Chip Cookies

  48 cookies
3 cups flour
2 tsps baking soda
1 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups shredded dark chocolate bars
1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup Chocolate Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
2 eggs - room temperature
1 tablespoon sour cream
2 tsps vanilla
2 packages chocolate chips
Gentley mix together dry ingredients, including the shredded chocolate bars and set aside.

In mixer, cream together shortening and sugars, add eggs, peanut butter and Hazelnut spread, then add sour cream and vanilla. Slowly add the dry ingredients, mix in chocolate chips.

Using Cookie Scoop, mound on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes, remove from oven and let set on cookie sheet for 2 more minutes. Cool, put in air tight container when completely cool.

Would have liked a little more clarification on which chocolate bars were required and the measurement of chips I ended up using 2 12oz pkgs of chips and 2 large Hershey Dk. chocolate. I used my cookie scoop and ended up with over 120 cookies. Must have been right measure as baking time was just right. They were VERY VERY GOOD, though.
