My mother made this many times for a one dish meal. It is like a cobbler pie when baked.

1/4 c. butter
1 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
DIRECTIONS
Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. Put butter in a

1 1/2 quart round casserole and put in a 350 F oven until melted. Meanwhile, mix remainging ingredients. Pour into casserole of melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon chicken mixture into the center.Do not stire. Bake 50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6.

Sometimes my mother would add green peas, broccoli or mixed vegetables to the chicken mixture for color and taste.

Excellent quick and easy meal
Almost let some of the previous reviewers scare me off. Very glad I didn't! This is a quick and easy meal that can be made partly ahead of time. Just got done eating it and the consensus was definitely make again, soon. Thanks Mary Jo for a real winner. Will definitely be one of my go to recipes.
