I can't make enough of this all year long.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can(29 oz) tomato sauce
2 cans(14.5 oz each) Mexican stewed tomatoes
1 can(26 oz) Ranch-style beans
1 can(15 oz) Ranch-style beans with jalapeno slices
2 pkgs, McCormick Chili Seasoning
DIRECTIONS
In 5-quart Dutch-oven, brown ground beef,chopped onion,garlic.


Drain of excess fat.


Return to Dutch-oven.


Add tomato sauce, mexican stewed tomatoes, both cans of beans, stir well.


Add 2 pkgs. Chili seasoning, mix well.


Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes. (Longer if you want to)


I serve this with my homemade sweet cornbread.
