For those who are sugar sensitive, here is a dessert square recipe that uses no refined sugar! Also, this is a treat that requires no eggs! Dairy, yes, and oil, too!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
5 small sweet potatoes
1/2 cup oil
1 small carton plain nonfat yogurt
1 to 2 cups oatmeal flakes
1 cup seedless raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 to 1 cup sliced almonds
DIRECTIONS
Bake sweet potatoes in jackets at 350 degrees, 1 hour.


Cool sweet potatoes 15 minutes, peel and mash.


Mix everything up except almonds.


Spread mixture in square glass or ceramic baking dish.


Sprinkle almonds on top, like the snow falling.


Bake at 350 degtrees F. for one full hour.


Cool and cut into squares.
