Favert Noodles

This was my sons favorite. He passed away at 42 this year. This is for him. When he was little he always said fix favert noodles. When you eat these just remember my son could eat the whole pan!!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cans of stewed tomatoes,chunked or sliced.
4 slices of think bacon
1tablespoon of finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1tablespoon of sugar or brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Boil water,enoughfor the amount you fix.You can double this.


Cook bacon while water is boiling.cook until done only limp


Add pasta to boiling water.,cook only long enough that the pasta is a little tough.Drain water. NOW THE FUN BEGINS.Add both cans of stewed tomatoes,bacon,onion,garlic,sugar,salt.


Watch closely,cover,with glass lid. Should take at least 15 to 20 minutes longer until ready to enjoy.Stir at least 3 times. lower heat on the last 15 minutes of cooking.
