Active Time:  15 Minutes
Total Time:  25 Minutes
  Makes 4 servings
2 cups granola, pulsed in food processor to break down lumps
1/2 cup honey
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and cut into chunks
2 small bananas, peeled and cut up
1/3 cup orange juice
Whole strawberries
papaya slices
Sprigs of mint
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch pie pan.

Combine the granola and honey in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and press into the pan firmly to obtain an even, compact layer. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the pan to a rack to cool.

Combine the fruit and orange juice in the container of a food processor and puree. Press through a strainer to make the sauce as smooth as possible. Chill until ready to serve.

Place some of the sauce on a serving plate and place a slice of the granola flan on top. Garnish with whole strawberries, papaya slices, and a sprig of mint.

Disappointed in Wolf's Sheer Fantasy
During the years I lived and worked in Spain, I never saw granola sold in a normal market. Where did B. Wolf get the outlandish notion of using it in a recipe purporting to be Spanish!?? It belongs in an American cookbook, not one claiming to be Spanish.
