Grilled Cardinal Chicken

Flavorful, juicy chicken that marinates in a tangy sauce and then grilled to perfection and serve with the cooked marinade. So delicious!
5 split chicken breasts with skin
1 c catsup
½ c apple cider vinegar
¼ c sugar
¼ c oil
2 Tblsp melted butter
2 Tblsp lemon juice
2 Tblsp prepared mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp poultry seasoning
2 dashes hot sauce
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Combine all remaining ingredients to make marinade/sauce. Pour sauce over chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Place chicken over medium hot coals or gas flame on barbeque. Grill chicken for about 45 minutes or until juices run clear. Transfer marinade to a metal pie plate and place on barbeque with chicken last 20 minutes of cooking time. Serve with sauce. So tasty!!
