  6 Servings
2 Pounds of Pork meat (leg) boneless and in one piece.
5 ounces of ham in cubes.
1 big onion thinly sliced.
1 teaspoon of mustard.
3 vegetable oil tablespoons.
3 or 4 cans of regular coke.
1 bay leaf.
Salt and pepper.
With a sharp knife "stab" the pork leg and in each stab introduce a ham cube with your finger. When ham is finished rub the leg with salt and ground pepper.

Put the oil in a pot and fry the leg to seal the juices. When golden brown take it out the pot. Put the onion in the pot and let it brown. When onion is caramelized put leg back in pot and add the coke until meat is covered with liquid. Add the mustard, bay leaf and season with salt and pepper as you like. Put the lead on the pot and leave it boil for 45min in medium flame or until meat is very very tender and liquid is thick.

If you'd like you can use a pressure cook.

Slice the meat (you'll see the pink spots from ham) and serve with mashed potatoes and french bread. It makes GREAT french bread sandwiches.
