Melt butter in a 3 qt pan

Add cumin, and cayene pepper,
|
|
Add sugar and salt.
|
|
Stir well.
|
|
Add 3 cups of pecans and stir and heat for one minute.
|
|
Put in a buttered sheet pan or pan covered with parchment paper.
|
|
Bake at 300 for 20 minutes. Stir once after 10 minutes.

Cool on cookie sheet.
|
|
These are great served with cheese and wine.
|

I also put about 1 cup in a baggie and tie with ribbon and attach to a bottle of wine for a gift.
