Apple Glazed Pork Chops

Makes 4 servings


  • 1/2 cup Smucker's Apple Jelly
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Four 1-inch-thick pork chops
  • 2 small baking apples, cored and sliced


Combine the first four ingredients in a saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the jelly melts. Keep warm.

Place the pork chops on a rack in the broiler pan. Broil 5 inches from the heat, 7 minutes on each side.

Remove from the oven; brush one side with the jelly glaze, and broil 3 minutes. Flip and brush the other side with glaze; top with the apple slices, and drizzle with the remaining glaze. Broil 3 minutes.
