Bacon Basil Dip with Garlic Tips

This filling dip takes basic basil and bacon to new heights. While guests may expect the same-old-spinach-dip for your party, they'll be delightfully surprised at the flavorful difference.
1 container – Daisy Sour Cream (8oz)
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/4 cup fresh baby spinach, chopped
1 tsp roasted garlic paste
8oz crisp hickory bacon, crumbled
12 slices bread
1/3 cup garlic butter
36 cherry tomatoes
Add sour cream, basil, spinach, garlic and to a blender. Mix until thoroughly blended. Scrape mixture into a medium mixing bowl. Stir cooked/cooled/crumbled bacon into dip. Cover bowl and chill for 30 minutes, or until needed.

Toast the bread in the oven at 350 degrees until light golden. Remove bread from oven and lightly smear the top of each slice with about 1 tsp garlic butter. Cut each slice into 4 toast tips. (Make your own garlic butter simply by mixing butter and garlic paste/powder.)

Place bowl in the middle of a serving plate. Arrange toast tips and cherry tomatoes around the bowl. Garnish dip with chopped basil leaves and sprinkle of crumbled bacon. Serves 8 to 12.
