Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

RECIPE INGREDIENTS
BACON-WRAPPED PORK TENDER LOIN
Bacon  12to 15 slices
2 pork tenderloins trimmed of fat ; cut into 1 ½ inch pieces; fold end pieces over and tie in with twine.
Salt and pepper the pieces of tenderloin
2 TBS of olive oil
DIRECTIONS
Par cook bacon in microwave oven so that it is browned but not crisp?about ½ the time to cook crisp bacon.


Wrap each piece of pork with a slice of bacon overlapping the ends and securing it with a toothpick.


Heat oil in a skillet until shimmering. Add pork with cut side down until well browned without disturbing pieces?about 3 to 6 minutes. Turn and brown second side. Reduce heat and stand each piece on its side, turning as necessary, until all sides are browned and internal temperature on an instant read thermometer is 140 to 155 degrees on an instant-read thermometer, about 8 to 15 minutes.


Serve with desired green vegetable and heated apple pie filling or heated apple sauce served over the pork.
