This easy recipe is a family favorite. It makes one loaf of bread which is very good with soup and stew. Also, it is wonderful cut into cubes with various dips as an appetizer.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
3 Cups self-rising flour
3 Tbls. Sugar
1 Can Beer
3 Tbls. butter, melted (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together until completely moist. Put dough into greased loaf pan. Pour melted butter over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Check after 30 minutes. Top will get hard and crusty and will be golden brown.
