Best Mexi-Bean-N-Beef Dip / Taco and Burrito Filling

Your guests will rave over this recipe. Get creative with a platter of dipped chips topped with a piece of cheese, jolopino or avocado, etc. Also makes a fantastic taco and burrito filler. Top burritos with enchilada sauce, shredded cheese then heat.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 lbs. Hamburger
1 16oz Can of Black Beans
1 16oz Can of Refried Beans
1 16oz Can of Diced Tomato
2/3 Cup of Diced Onion
2/3 Cup of Diced Bell Pepper
2 Tablespoon of Chopped Garlic
1 Packet of Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Packet of Fajitas Seasoning Mix
1/2 Cup of Olive or Vegetable Oil
(Your favorite "Hot Additives" can be included)
DIRECTIONS
Brown hamburger, drain then break down to an even medium texture. Set aside.


In a medium saucepan add oil, chopped garlic, diced tomato, diced onion, diced pepper and both packets of seasonings. Mix well.


Start with medium heat and lower as necessary. Stirring frequently, cook off water content until ingredients reach a level of being lightly fried. Add more oil if needed to prevent drying up and burning.


Add can of refried beans and mix until softened and evenly blended. This adds flavor plus works as a binder which helps the dip stay on your chip.


Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.


Stirring frequently, simmer until all is well heated.


If the mixture seems to be too thick and dry, stir in a very small amount of water at a time until it has the right consistancy for a dip. Keep in mind that it will thicken as it cools down.


Note: This mixture must be heated to be soft enough to use as a dip.
