2 8oz pkgs of softend cream cheese
1 lb sausage
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
3 pkgs button mushrooms (pre-cleaned)
1 pkg pre-shredded cheese (White blend)
garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
salt + pepper to taste
preheat oven to 350 degrees

Pull all stems from the mushrooms and set aside.

start by browning the sausage, using a fork break it into small pieces while its cooking. About half way into the browning add onions. cook until browned. Drain excess grease off by placing on paper towels. In a bowl combine cream cheese and garlic powder slowly add in the sausage and onion mixture, if available use electric mixer to blend well if not stir until the mixture is well blended. Next spoon mixture into mushroom caps place the caps on a foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese and salt and pepper to taste. place in the oven for 20-30 min until golden brown and bubbly
