  • 1 can (16 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup reserved tomato juice (see South American Turkey Thighs Recipe)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon green pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced garlic

Use with South American-Style Turkey Thighs recipe.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the beans, reserved tomato juice, cilantro, green pepper flakes, onion and garlic.

Cook 10 minutes or until heated throughout.
