Brandy Butter

Makes about 1 cup


  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons brandy


Cream the butter until light and fluffy, adding the sugar a tablespoon at a time. Beat until pale then beat in the brandy. Spoon into a serving dish and refrigerate until hard.

Serve with Christmas or other fruit puddings.

Serving size = 1 tablespoon
