Cajun Maple Pineapple Salmon

Blend of sweet and heat neither overpowering the fish
6-8 oz fillets atlantic salmon, 9tbs Pure maple syrup, dry cajun rub/spice and one small can diced pineapple,fresh sea salt and cracked black pepper.
Place fillets on plate and generously shake a coat of your favorite cajun spice. Drizzle maple syrup on the fillets helping the spice adhere to the fillets, turn the fish over gently repeating. The fillets should have maple glaze over the cajun spice rub. Place half a can of pineapple with it juices in a large freezer bag.Laying the bag flat(as possible)on a counter hold up the open end and place your fillets in the bag. Seal with as little air as possible. Place the bagged fillets on a plate in the fridge to marinate 1-2hrs carefully turning over half way through your intended time( marinating both sides). Preheat grill to medium high and spray with non-stick spray. Remove fish from marinade removing any big chunks of pinapple and season with cracked black pepper and fresh salt( i like a grind of sea salt) place fillets on the grill for 3-4 min per side depending on thickness(turning once).
