Chicken & Fresh Herb Gnocchi Chowder

Easy to make with great flavor.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
3 Large Boneless Chicken Breasts, cut into cubes.  Set aside
1/4 c. olive oil
4 Garlic Cloves, chopped
Baby carrots (10 total), juillianed
1-1/4 c. Baby spinach, washed & sliced
5 TBS. sweet butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 1/2 c. 1% milk (or skim)*SEE BELOW
1 c. evaporated milk*
1 2/3 c. chicken stock, low fat, low sodium*
1/3 plus 1/4. c. flour
Grated parmasan (3 TBS)
1 to 2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary (according to taste)
2 tsp. minced fresh thyme
Parmasan cheese-grated (3 TBS. IN CHOWDER, MORE FOR THE TOP OF EACH BOWL WHEN POURED)
1/2 c. Vermouth or dry white wine
1-1/2 packages of (Wegman's Italian Classics mini Gnocchi)
OR whichever grocery store you can find it
DIRECTIONS
*HEAT THE MILK AND CHICKEN BROTH IN MICROWAVE UNTIL LUKEWARM BEFORE ADDING TO CHOWDER TO PREVENT CURDLING. Add in flour & cheese, AFTER MICROWAVED.


Cube the chicken breasts, and saute in 1/4 c. olive oil until 3/4 done. Add garlic and carrots. Saute until carrots just start to soften. Add in the butter to melt. Next add in the spinach, and saute briefly. Slowly add in the heated milk, chicken broth and parmasan mixture, and stir constantly while adding to prevent curdling. Add rosemary and thyme, salt & pepper. Simmer for about 5 mins. stirring constantly. Add in gnocchi, and simmer for about 2 mins. Chowder will thicken more after adding in the Gnocchi. Top each bowl with parmasan.

sounded great............but
thought this recipe was answer to my prayers, but alas, it calls for white wine but there is no step included in the recipe for adding it. fix the recipe and I will give a review gladly....... :(
