Chili

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS
Chili


In one large Pot


1 onion


3 stalks celery


½ bell pepper


Dice these and sauté in a little oil until onions start to turn brown


Add


1 lb of Ground beef or Turkey


1 Tablespoon chili powder


Garlic salt and pepper-cook till done


Add a large can of chopped tomatoes and stir


Add a small can of salsa about 1 cup (I use Herdez) but any salsa will do


Add 2 cans of black beans-don’t drain the beans-stir


1 can of kidney beans


1 can of pinto beans


2 cans of ranch beans


I think I use 6 cans of beans altogether-you can mix and match


I like all the different colors and sizes


Simmer on low for about an hour stir frequently


Let cool a bit and stir in 1 cup of chopped Cilantro


You can serve this the day you make it but it’s always better the next day
