China Dish

Not sure why this was called China Dish but in any case, it has always been a family favorite.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lb 90% ground beef
3 Tblsp Soy Sauce
! large onion - sliced in half and cut in strips pole to pole
6 red potatoes
1/2 cup whole milk
4 tbsp butter
1 can or 1 bag frozen corn
DIRECTIONS
Saute beef, soy sauce and onion until onion is cooked. Boil potatoes in salted water. Drain & immediately add butter. Mix with electric mixer. Add milk and mix.


Place ground beef mixture in an 8x8 inch baking dish. Add layer of corn (partialy cook corn if frozen). Top with mashed potatoes. Add 1 more tbsp butter and bake 15 minutes
