  20 Mice
Chocolate Mice, as much fun to make as they are to eat...
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1/2 LB. Sliced Almonds
2 LB. Hershey Kisses
8 OZ. jar of maraschino cherries (with Stems)
DIRECTIONS
Unwrap all of the Hershey Kisses and set 20, or so, aside for later.

In a double boiler, melt the rest of the Hershey Kisses for dipping.

Drain and the maraschino cherries and dry in paper towels (Take out all the cherries with no stems...)

Dip the cherry into the melted chocolate by holding it by the stem and place the dipped cherry on a sheet of waxed paper.

Quickly, place an unwrapped Hershey Kiss on the end of the dipped cherry (away from the stem...) and briefly hold it in place until it is set.

Now take two pieces of sliced Almond pieces and insert them between the Hershey Kiss and the covered cherry to make the mouse ears...

Once they are all assembled, set them in the refrigerator to firm up and Voilà! Chocolate covered mice...

Kids and adults love 'em!
