Serve cold with ice cream, or warm with a chocolate fudge cake or brownies.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 squares semisweet cooking chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dark rum, brandy or liqueur of your choice (optional)
Bring cream and butter to a boil in a small saucepan. Add chocolate and rum, remove from heat and stir until chocolate is melted. Will keep in refrigerator for 3 days but is best served immediately.
