This tangy barbeque sauce is a crowd pleaser. Use to baste ribs or chicken pieces for the last 15 minutes on the grill. Serve remaining sauce to pour over rice if desired.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
3 Vidalia onions, chopped
5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons red pepper vinegar
1 cup light brown sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1 36 ounce bottle catsup
9 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/3 cup maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Sautee onions in oil until translucent.


Add remaining ingredients.


Simmer 30 minutes.
