RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 cups canned corn, reserving liquid
Add enough milk to liquid to make 1 cup
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teas. baking powder
3/4 teas. salt
1 egg
DIRECTIONS
Mix egg with milk and liquid mixture


Add dry ingredients and mix just till moistened


Add corn


Drop batter from spoon into hot fat (375) degrees


Fry until brown about 3 minutes, turning once


Drain on paper towels


Makes about 18

Corn Fritters
This is the recipe I have been looking for, just like the one my mother used. I make them for breakfast somtimes, kids love butter and syrup on them.
