Creme Brulee French Toast

A Sunday morning brunch delight...
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 Loaf - Challah Bread (Sliced 1 inch thick)
4 Tbsp. - Butter (unsalted)
1 Cup - Brown Sugar
8 Eggs - (separated) Yolks Only
1 Qt. - Light Cream (Half and Half is Preffered)
1 Tsp. - Vanilla extract
4 Tbsp. - Triple Sec
1 Cup Blueberries (Or other seasonal Berry for Garnish)
DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan over medium/low heat, melt butter and add Brown sugar. Stir until smooth.


Grease a 13 X 9 baking dish, Pour Butter and Brown Sugar mix into the baking dish.


Cut Challah into 1' thick slices, arrange the slices in a single layer over the butter nad brown sugar mixture.


In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks, half & half, vanilla, and Triple-Sec.


Pour evenly over bread.


Cover and chill for an hour.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.


Bake uncovered 30 or until puffed up and a light golden brown.


Let sit for five minutes


Cut into 3 inch squares.


Serve squares, inverted, onto a plate


Garnish as desired.
