Chef Ivan Flowers created this uniquely delicious recipe & we just love the addition of the Maui Maid Teriyaki Marinade to the mayonnaise!
1 pound fresh shucked oysters in natural sea water
½ cup panko bread crumbs
1 cup baby arugula
Juice of 1 lemon
3 cups canola oil
1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon fresh chopped cilantro
¾ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Maui Maid Teriyaki sauce
8 King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 cup flour
3 eggs beaten well in a bowl
Preheat oil to 350 degrees

Combine mayonnaise, cilantro, lemon juice,1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce and sweet chili sauce till smooth and blended then set aside

Place 1 tablespoon of Maui Maid Teriyaki into beaten eggs

Lightly flour oysters, then coat with beaten egg

followed by dredging oysters in bread crumbs

Fry in oil till golden brown (2 minutes)

Place mayonnaise mixture on both sides of Kings Hawaiian Roll

Place oysters on roll and top with baby arugula
