Different Tuna Casserole

RECIPE INGREDIENTS
12oz tuna
2 c crushed potato chips
16 oz peas
2 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c milk
DIRECTIONS
Drain tuna, mix milk and soup together


layer 1/2 to 3/4 c potato chips into bottom of 3 qt casserole dish, flake about 6oz tuna on top, layer 8 oz peas next. Pour 1/2 milk soup mixture over peas, continue layering chips, tuna, peas, soup mixture last layer chips on top.


Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and chips are golden brown.


I save the crushed chips in the bottom of the bags in a tin to use for this purpose, it doesn't matter if they get stale. Perfect use for stale chips also. Kids will eat this tuna casserole better than the tradiontal tuna noodle casserole. Measurements don't have to be exact, this will serve a family of four or five.

Have u tried adding.....
I make a recipe very similar. To your recipe I also add 1 cup cubed velveeta cheese, and a small bag of frozen mixed veggies. I have found the velveeta helps make all the veggies so yummy that the kids gobble this up!
