Dreamy Corn Chowder

A hearty and creamy chowder that warms you on those chilly damp days.
Part 1-A
1/2 of medium onion chopped
1 cup carrots chopped
4 TBSP Butter
Part 1-B
1 TBSP cornstarch diluted with 4TBSP water
Part 2
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup milk
1 14 oz. can creamed corn
1  14 oz. can kernel corn (puree 3/4's of can)
1/2 lb. kielbasa chopped
1 cup cooked rice pureed
Optional: Add 1/2 cup to 1 cup half and half before serving.
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Worchester sauce
1/4 tsp. Pepper
Onion Powder to taste
Saute onion and carrots in butter (Part 1) in a 4 -6 quart pot until slightly tender under low heat.

Mix together the cornstarch and water and add to the sauteed carrot mixture.

Add the ingredients and seasonings in Part 2 in the order listed to the carrot mixture. Stir until throughly mixed. Continue to cook over low heat heat for about 1/2 hour until all the flavors have had a chance to blend, periodically stirring to avoid any food sticking on the bottom. Just before serving, if you like a creamier texture, add half and half, and cook for an additional minute or two. Serve and enjoy
