Easy Cheesy Touchdown Bean Dip

Serves 8

ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 package (8 ounces) Wild Oats Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup roasted green chiles, fresh or canned
  • 1/2 purple onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red pepper, diced
  • Wild Oats Natural Canola Oil

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Open beans and empty into a baking dish. Stir in shredded cheese, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, lime juice, salt and chiles.

Sauté onion, garlic and red pepper in canola oil until soft. Add sautéed mixture to the beans in the baking dish. Mix well. Cover with reserved cheese and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling.
