My mother used to make these for the whole neighborhood when the biscuits used to sell for 4 for $1.00. The kids would shake the doughnuts to coat them with sugar. Oh what fun and good memories.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 package Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits in tube
jelly if desired
powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
1. Open tube


2. Separate biscuits


3. Deep fry until golden brown


4. Place hot doughnuts in paper bag with powdered sugar, shake to coat.


5. Use an injector to fill about 1 tablespoon of jelly into cooked doughnut, if desired
