French Toast Casserole

French Toast Casserole from Your Home in the Woods Bed & Breakfast, a BnBFinder.com listed inn
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 loaf (12-16 oz) French bread
8 eggs
3 cups milk
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Cut the bread into cubes.


Put the bread cubes in a greased 9x13 pan.


Beat the eggs, the mix with milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.


Pour over the bread.


Refrigerate overnight.


Remove from refrigerator and let warm for 30 minutes.


Dot with butter.


Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and sprinkle over the bread.


Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
