An inside-out ham, cheese, and egg sandwich -- quick, easy, and delicious! Turkey can be substituted for ham or use 2 slices of each!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
4 slices of bread (white, wheat, challah)
8 thin slices of tavern-style deli ham
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
country style dijon mustard
2 beaten eggs
butter for frying sandwich
DIRECTIONS
Spread bread with mustard on both sides. Place 1 slice cheese, 4 slices of ham, 1 slice cheese on 1 slice of bread. Top with 1 other piece of bread. Dip in beaten egg and place in hot pan with butter. Repeat for second sandwich. Fry until brown on each side.
