My mother would make it during the summer for a nice cold dessert. I also make this for the the Holidays. My family loves it when I make it. It is like having pumpkin pie with ice cream on the side, but it is together.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUP CANNED PUMPKIN
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR (PACKED)
1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 TSP CINNAMON
1/2 TSP GINGER
1/2 TSP NUTMEG
1 QUART OF VANILLA ICE CREAM
9' GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST PIE SHELL
DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl cut the 1 quart of ice cream into pieces to melt at room temperature.


Mix the rest of the ingredients together and then stir it into the ice cream.


After everything is mixed together, pour into the graham cracker crust and freeze until set (2 - 4 hrs)


Take pie out 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Doesn't say what size can of pumkin. Sounds really great though
