Gramma's WW II Chili

I watched my mother and grandmother make this "chili" during WW II. They came home from work and had dinner on the table in less than 20 minutes.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 quart canned tomatoes with juice
1 sm can El Pato (yellow can)
2 cans dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed
DIRECTIONS
brown the beef and onions until no red shows.


Add tomatoes and El Pato


Add kidney beans


tips: add a tablespoon of Bakers cocoa will add depth to the flavor.
