My mother-in-law would serve this dish with homemade rolls and a green vegetable. Very good, especially on a cool day.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Heat oven to 350 degrees
-2 large carrots, peeled, sliced
-1 large potato, peeled, sliced
-1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned w/salt and pepper
-1 lg can pork and beans
-1 lg can diced tomatoes
-1/2 tsp. each: oregano, basil, thyme
-1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
Layer ingredients, sprinkling with spices as desired


Bake in 9x13 greased casserole for 1hr. or until bubbly.

It sounds interesting, but you say to layer it. How exactly should this be done? As we all know, the order of layering can make a BIG difference as to how a recipe comes out. Thanks
