A simple, but very tasty southwestern-style, grilled beef dish. Different from simply grilling steaks and with a unique combination of flavor. Between the rave reviews and ease of prep, you'll find this becoming a staple in your grilling menu.
1 Tri-Tip beef roast 2-2.5 lbs
2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
BBQ rub
Combine Tri-tip, OJ and Worcestershire sauce in a resealable container, bag. Refrigerate overnite.

Remove from refrigerator, 30 min. before cooking. Cover generously with BBQ rub spice on all sides

Light a hot charcoal fire, place roast directly over heat - 7 mins, then flip over for another 7 mins. Even the sides can be seared for 2 min each. This will form a charred crust and keep juices inside the roast. After the initial sear, move to indirect heat to finish - 5 min each side.

Remove from heat, place on a cutting board, tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 min. Have your salad course.

Slice across the roast and serve. Easily serves 4-6. End tend to be more medium, middle more rare.
