Hearty Ham & Potato

Serve with warm dinner rolls and you have a complete meal.
6 Potatoes
1 Large Onion - Chopped
2 Cans Green Beans - drained
Bone and ham from leftover ham-hock
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Peal and cut potatoes into large chunks

Place into large pot.

Cover with water.

Add Salt and Pepper.

Remove outer layer of onion, chop

Add to potatoes and stir.

Remove ham from bone so that it is in serving size slices or chunks.

Any ham remaining on the bone will fall off when bone is removed from the pot.

Nestle the bone down into the potatoes.

Lay the ham on top of Potatoes.

Drain the green beans and place on top of ham.

Bring to boil.

Reduce heat to medium and cover.

Cook until potatoes are tender.

Remove have bone.

Use slotted spoon and serve by layers onto a plate or place in bowls as a soup.
