Homemade Chicken and Dumplings

This recipe comes from a long line of Mothers and grandmothers and is just a wonderful dish. Different ones have added their own touches and it has only made it better. I think the thing that makes it special is the homemade dumplings.
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon
1 can of cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoons butter
3 cups flour
3 tablespoons butter crisco
3 eggs
enough milk to make dough
Cook chicken in 8-10 cups of water with seasonings added until done. Shred and reserve water.

Mix flour and crisco together until crumbly. Add eggs and enough milk to form soft dough. Roll dough out on pastry sheet to 1/8 thickness and cut into small squares. With reserved water boiling again add cream soup and butter and mix well. Drop dumplings in a few at a time stirring after. Remove from heat after last dumplings are added and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with a green salad if desired
