Honey of a Pork Loin

A honey of a pork loin, tender and flavorful.
2 Quarts Apple Cider or Apple Juice
1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
1 4-lb Pork Loin
1/8 Cup Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 24-oz Jar Applesauce
1/4 Cup Honey
1. Pour the apple cider or juice, reserving 2 cups, into

a large plastic tub

2. Add the liquid smoke.

3. Stir till incorporated.

4. Add the pork loin.

5. Cover with plastic wrap.

6. Place in refrigerator.

7. Turn loin over every couple of hours.

8. Take loin out of marinade.

9. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

10. Coat a baking pan with cooking spray.

11. Place pork loin into the pan.

12. Sprinkle the Montreal Steak Seasoning evenly over the


13. Spread the applesauce evenly over the loin.

14. Drizzle the honey over the applesauce.

15. Bake at 325 degrees for 1-3/4 hours or until a meat

thermometer registers 140 in the thickest part.

16. Remove from the oven and cover with foil and let sit

for 15 minutes prior to slicing.
