1/2 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese
1 jar of sweet or hot roasted peppers, drained
4 hero loaves of bread
1/4 cup EV oil
4 or 5 tbsp. of Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 tbsp of honey
Salt and Pepper

The night before the game, saute onions in some EV oil and slowly cook until well carmalized. Cool and refrigerate. Marinade meat for about two hours then Broil or grill to medium rare. Cool and refrigerate. The day of the game, split bread and slightly brush with EV oil and broil until slightly golden (just a few minutes), allow to cool. Slice meat as thinly as possible, bring onions to room temperature. Begin to assemble heros by placing some sliced meat, onions, peppers, sliced provolone and mozzarella cheese. Place top on bread and wrap heros in aluminum foil. At the game, if cooking or grilling other food, place heros close to heat and allow heros to warm and cheese to melt.
