Hot Layered Mexican Taco Dip

1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 (1.25 oz) packet of hot or regular taco seasoning
½ medium onion, chopped
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup French onion dip
1/2 cup Daisy sour cream
Green onions, thinly sliced (optional garnish)
Tortilla chips
Preheat oven to 350 F.

In medium skillet, cook ground beef or turkey and onions with taco seasoning until browned over medium high heat. Drain off grease and place meat mixture in bottom of 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of meat mixture, do not stir.

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, French onion dip and sour cream until well blended. Pour cream cheese mixture over shredded cheese layer, do not stir. Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
