Jan`s Coconut cake

Extremely easy, and will fool even the most accomplished cooks in the family.
1 White cake mix
2 Tbsp. coconut extract
1 1/2 c.shredded coconut
1 large box coconut cream instant pie filling (makes 2 cups)
Betty Crocker Vanilla Icing ( in tub)
Prepare cake as per box instructions, adding 1 tablespoon coconut extract to batter.

Bake in 2 8 inch round layer pans.

Cool on racks, then divide each layer in half, now have 4 layers.

Prepare instant pudding as per instructions,if you cannot find coconut instant pudding, use vanilla and add 1 tablespoon of the coconut extract. Use prepared pudding between each cooled layer as you stack them on a plate.

Once layers are all done, then whip the vanilla icing with other tablespoon of coconut extract. Ice entire cake.

Now using the 1 1/2c. shredded coconut, sprinkle over entire cake.

Refridgerate for about an hour before serving.
