Jertsy’s Granola Multigrain Breakfast Toast

  1 loaf
250 ml water
¼ cup canola oil
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp molasses
1 tsp (level) salt
1 packet active dry yeast
½ cup Great River multigrain cereal
½ cup Nature’s Hand Natural granola cereal
2 cup Amazing Grains Red whole wheat
1 cup bread flour
Heat exactly 250 ml water to 110 deg. Add 1 tsp sugar and Active Dry yeast, mix well, allow mixture to come to a real froth.

Mix granola, multigrain, 1 cup whole wheat, yeast, oil, molasses, salt, and mix well. Add remaining flour in ½ cups at a time.

Knead for 3 to 5 minutes and shape into a moist but not sticky ball. Place into a lightly greased covered bowl and into a warm oven(110 to 120 degrees). Let rise to twice its original size (about 1 hr.). Punch down and form into a loaf. Place it into a bread pan 2¾” X 4½” X 8½”.

Place loaf in warm oven and let rise for about a half hour. Slash the top down the center, ¼ inch deep(use wetted knife).

Place loaf into cold oven and set oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 30 min or until the internal temperature is 188 to 194 deg.
