JIFFY SHEPHERD'S PIE

Have supper on table in less than 20 minutes with Kid favorite Shepherd's Pie / casserole. Pick up 1 lb package chopped beef on way home from work and add typical pantry stock items.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 lb chopped beef.
10 oz (or approx. 3/4 jar)Spaghetti Sauce.
1 sml. can corn (or other favorite vegetable).
1 envelope prepared instant mashed potatoes.
1 to 2 oz. grated cheddar cheese(or other favorite cheese)
Utensils: fry pan, spatula, colander, microwave bowl with lid.
DIRECTIONS
1.Spray fry pan & lighly brown beef, breaking into small pieces as you add it to the pan.


2. Drain fat off the beef into colander.


3. Return pan of drained beef to stove & mix in spaghetti sauce. (Add enough to make consistency of "Sloppy Joe")


4. Add drained can of vegetables to mix.


5. Prepare 1 envelope of instant mashed potatoes.


6. Pour beef mixture into microwave bowl & layer prepared instant mashed potatoes on top with plastic spatula like icing.


6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of potatoes.


7. Heat covered in microwave on high for approx. 3 minutes until cheese is melted.


8. Serve immediately. (Leftovers can be refrigerated and re-heated next day.)
