This recipe has been used in my family for Thanksgiving and other special family holidays.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
One loaf of white bread
8 pearl onions - White
1/4 cup mayonnaise
5 drops worcheshire sauce
3 T parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Bread: Using a 1 1/2" round cookie cutter (or a shot glass works well too) cut circles from the (white part)inside of the bread...usually 3-4 per slice. Set aside, keeping fresh.

Turn on broiler:

Slice onions thinly across lengthwise. Mix mayo, w. sauce and p. cheese together. Place the bread rounds on a cookie sheet, place one onion slice on top of the bread and top with a dollop of the mayo mixture. Broil until the top of the mayo gets brown...4-5 minutes.
