Kickin’ Black Bean Avocado Dip

I developed this avocado-based dip from a sandwich spread recipe. Over the years, I added the black beans, jalapenos and fresh tomatoes. I make this dip for many summer get-togethers.
1 can black beans
1 avocado, diced
1/4 c. light mayonnaise
1/4 c. Daisy light sour cream
1 1/2 t. fresh lime juice
1/8 t. fine sea salt
1/8 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. dill weed
1 T. chopped cilantro
1 Roma tomato, chopped
1/4 c. pickled jalapenos, chopped
Place black beans in a sieve or colander. Rinse well and let drain.

In a food processor equipped with the blade or a blender, place the diced avocado, mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, salt, garlic powder, and dill weed. Process until smooth.

Place avocado mixture in a mixing bowl. Stir in drained and rinsed black beans and cilantro. Place in serving bowl and top with tomatoes and jalapenos. Serve with tortilla chips.
