My mom used to make this when I was growing up, and it's a Korean staple. Also a quick and easy meal! I made a few of my own personal tweaks to it.
1/2 package dduk (Korean rice cakes)
2 tbsp Korean hot chili paste
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup green onions or cilantro, chopped
1/4 lb sliced rib-eye or pork belly
1/2 cup chopped fish cake or imitation crab
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp sherry
salt & pepper
Marinate meat in garlic, sherry, salt, pepper and a little Korean chili paste (if desired)

Boil dduk until soft, drain and set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, cook meat.

Add dduk, fish cake, chili paste, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir until mixed.

Add green onions, turn off heat, mix in.

Serve and enjoy!
